Microneedling uses tiny needles to create numerous micro punctures in the skin, triggering the release of growth factors. These factors stimulate the breakdown of old collagen fibres and promote the creation of new collagen and elastin, resulting in skin tightening and remodelling.
We combine this Microneedling method with a Meso cocktail containing hydrating, firming, tightening and antioxidant ingredients to rejuvenate the skin. We also have the option of combining this treatment with PRF (Plasma Rich Fibrin) drawn from your own blood, this treatment is also known as a Vampire Facial, see our PRF section for more details.
Our Microneedling procedure takes approximately 1 hour. Downtime is minimal, after the treatment you can expect a little inflammation and lots of redness for up to 24 hours.
Microneedling treatment is typically administered in a series of 3 or 6 sessions at 4 week intervals. After your initial set of treatments, you may wish to top up with a session once or twice a year to maintain the results.
RF Microneedling is dual focused treatment designed to tighten, lift, firm, and contour the skin. This dual focused treatment induces controlled trauma, prompting the production of collagen and elastin. Microneedling creates micro-traumas in the skin, initiating the healing response, while radio frequency employs heat to tighten the skin from within.
With Focus Dual, you benefit from two treatments in one, resulting in a more supercharged and effective outcome compared to undergoing microneedling and radio frequency treatments separately. The procedure takes approximately 1 hour. Downtime is minimal, after the treatment you can expect a little inflammation and lots of redness for up to 24 hours.
RF Microneedling treatment is typically administered in a series of 3 sessions at 4 week intervals. Results are long lasting and after your initial set of treatments, you may wish to top up with a session once a year to maintain the results.
The numbing cream is an option however we advise not to have it as because numbing cream can constrict the blood vessels in the skin which limits the skin from turning red (inflammation). This response is important in maximising your results. Common feedback is that the procedure is scratchy but not painful.
We use a needling device on your face, working in the Meso cocktail into the skin until an even pinkish look is achieved. This indicates that the skin has been stimulated sufficiently without causing bleeding. Treatment for the full face takes about 45 min. You will have a pinkish/red rash like skin tone when you leave our clinic and should ideally rest for the day.
